Overview
Left-side 60x300 cross flow fan with an integrated ceramic PTC heating element. 35 W, 2,300 RPM, 150-220 m³/h, CW rotation, 220 V - a fan-and-heater module for dryers and floor-standing heaters.
Key strengths
Fan and heater in one assembly: the PTC element sits downstream of the impeller, so heated air leaves the slot at uniform temperature.
Left-side motor with CW rotation - the mirror image of the standard 60x300 build, for appliances whose wiring enters from the left.
Ceramic PTC self-regulates: resistance rises as it heats, so the element cannot run away even if airflow drops.
Aluminium fins spread heat across the full 300 mm slot instead of one hot band in the middle.
One part number replaces a separate fan, heater and bracket set, cutting assembly time and BOM count.

Applications
Typical duties for the CF-6030-300-PL. Left-side dryer, floor-standing heater, custom HVAC.
Clothes dryers and drying cabinets - The PTC element heats the airstream directly after the impeller, giving fast warm-up and a controlled outlet temperature without a separate heater box.
Floor-standing and tower heaters - Uniform 300 mm discharge avoids the hot spot a coil heater creates in front of a small axial fan.
Bathroom and wall heaters - Self-regulating PTC behaviour is a safety advantage in rooms where airflow can be blocked by towels or curtains.
Custom warm-air appliances - The module can be supplied as a fan-only unit or with the heater, so a single drawing covers both variants.
Matching the fan to the duty
PTC heaters self-limit, but they still need airflow. Size the fan so the outlet temperature stays within the appliance's rated limit at the lowest speed setting; if the appliance has a boost mode, confirm the element's wattage against the boost airflow, not the nominal figure.
What can be customized
Fan-only version of the same housing for appliances sold with or without heat.
PTC wattage and fin length set to your outlet temperature target.
CW left-side or CCW right-side motor mounting.
Barrel lengths of 240, 300 and 360 mm.
Thermal fuse, thermostat and over-temperature cut-out wired in.
Custom lead harness, terminal block and connector.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What is a cross flow fan with PTC heater?
A: It is a single module combining a tangential blower and a ceramic positive-temperature-coefficient heating element mounted downstream of the impeller. Air passes through the aluminium fins and leaves the discharge slot heated and evenly distributed.
Q: Why use PTC instead of a resistance coil?
A: PTC ceramic self-regulates: its resistance climbs steeply as temperature rises, so it cannot overheat even if airflow is partly blocked. A resistance coil keeps drawing current until a thermostat or fuse intervenes.
Q: What does left-side and CW mean?
A: Left-side means the motor is mounted at the left-hand end of the barrel when viewed from the discharge side, and CW means the impeller turns clockwise from that view. It mirrors the standard right-side CCW build for appliances whose wiring enters from the left.
Q: Can I buy the fan without the heater?
A: Yes. The same housing is supplied fan-only, which lets one appliance platform offer heated and unheated versions from a single drawing.
Q: What airflow does the heater need?
A: The fan delivers 150-220 m³/h. Size the PTC wattage so the temperature rise across the element stays within the appliance rating at the lowest speed setting, not at full speed.
