Compact 60 mm cross flow fan with a 120 mm aluminium impeller and 6013 shaded pole motor. 15 W, 2,300 RPM, 40-70 m³/h, Class H copper winding - built for control cabinets and medical equipment.
Shortest 60 mm platform in the range - 120 mm impeller fits enclosures where a 180 mm or 300 mm barrel will not clear the door swing.
6013 shaded pole motor: no capacitor, no start winding, two-lead connection straight to the control board.
Class H insulation and pure copper winding hold up in closed cabinets where internal air reaches 60-70 C.
Wide 40-70 m³/h band gives usable margin for filter loading without changing the fan.
CCW rotation with the motor on the right-hand end, matching the common cabinet cut-out pattern.
Air is drawn into the 120 mm barrel along its full length and leaves through a narrow discharge slot, which is why the airflow is even across the slot instead of concentrated in the middle. The 6013 shaded pole motor runs the impeller at 2,300 RPM and draws 15 W; being a shaded pole design it needs no capacitor, so the fan connects to the AC 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz supply with two leads. Rotation is CCW viewed from the motor end, so confirm the handedness against your housing before ordering.
The values below are the specification we build the CF-6013-120 to. Airflow is measured at free discharge and rated voltage; with a grille, filter or heat exchanger in the airflow path, expect a reduction of 15-25 percent.

Typical duties for the CF-6013-120. Control cabinet, elevator control box, medical equipment cooling.
Electrical and control cabinets - The 120 mm barrel and 40-70 m³/h band suit 600-1,200 mm wide enclosures where the fan mounts on a side wall or roof plate and pushes air across a busbar or drive stack.
Medical and laboratory equipment - Class H winding and a sealed motor body tolerate warm internal air; the low 15 W input keeps acoustic output and heat rise minimal.
Display cases and vending equipment - Even tangential discharge avoids the spot cooling that axial fans create on glass.
Size the fan against the cabinet's free area, not its volume alone: a 120 mm barrel works best where the discharge slot is at least 100 mm wide and the return path is not blocked by cable bundles. Where the enclosure is deeper than 300 mm, use the 60x180 or 60x240 platform instead so the airflow reaches the far wall.
Mount with the discharge slot facing the heat source and keep 3-5 mm clearance between the impeller and any panel. The motor can be run continuously at 220-240 V without external thermal protection in most cabinet applications; add a thermal cut-out if the fan is buried behind filters.
The CF-6013-120 is built in our own plant, so the specification can be adjusted to your appliance rather than the other way round. Options below are quoted against the base build.
Impeller length from 60 mm to 300 mm on the same 60 mm diameter (180 mm, 240 mm and 300 mm barrels share the motor family).
Winding: pure copper standard; aluminium and CCA available for cost-down programmes.
Lead length, connector type and terminal orientation set to your harness drawing.
Voltage: 110-120 V / 60 Hz and 220-240 V / 50 Hz builds from the same tooling.
Private label on housing and carton; neutral packing available.
Standard MOQ is 1,000 pieces for the 60x120 build. A new impeller length needs a tooling review and is quoted separately.
Manufactured by Guangzhou Yuexun Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. (YKFANMOTOR) in Guangdong, China, part of a family motor business with more than 28 years of manufacturing experience. CE and RoHS documentation is supplied where the model carries those marks; IEC test reports can be arranged for custom builds.
Q: What is a 60x120 cross flow fan used for?
A: It is a compact tangential blower for small enclosures: control cabinets, elevator control boxes, medical analysers, display cases and vending machines. The 60 mm diameter and 120 mm impeller length keep the fan inside a shallow cabinet while still moving 40-70 m³/h across the heat source.
Q: Does this fan need a capacitor?
A: No. The CF-6013-120 uses a shaded pole motor, which starts and runs directly from the AC supply without a capacitor or start winding. That removes the most common field-failure part in small cooling fans.
Q: Can it run on 110 V instead of 220 V?
A: Yes. The same tooling is wound for 110-120 V / 60 Hz and for 220-240 V / 50 Hz. Specify the market at RFQ; the 110 V build is a separate winding and carries its own MOQ.
Q: What is the noise level?
A: Sound pressure depends on the mounting panel and the discharge restriction. The shaded pole motor and the 2,300 RPM speed keep the blade-pass tone low; for noise-critical cabinets we can supply a slower 2,000 RPM winding or a rubber-isolated mounting kit.
Q: Can the impeller length be changed?
A: Yes. The 60 mm diameter barrel is available in 120, 180, 240 and 300 mm lengths on the same motor family. Lengths between those steps can be tooled; expect a tooling lead time and a higher MOQ.
