High-airflow 60x180 cross flow fan with aluminium winding and ball bearings. 29 W, 2,200 RPM, 200-230 m³/h, 110/220 V, under 45 dB(A) - the cost-efficient barrel for air curtains and convector heaters.
Highest airflow per millimetre in the 60 mm range: 200-230 m³/h from a 180 mm barrel.
Aluminium winding cuts unit cost where the duty cycle is intermittent - the usual air-curtain and heater pattern.
Ball bearings instead of oil-impregnated bushings extend life in vertical or vibrating installations.
Under 45 dB(A) measured at 1 m, which keeps retail and hospitality air curtains acceptable.
110 V / 220 V build covers North American and European stock from one SKU family.
Air is drawn into the 180 mm barrel along its full length and leaves through a narrow discharge slot, which is why the airflow is even across the slot instead of concentrated in the middle. The aluminium-wire AC shaded pole motor runs the impeller at 2,200 RPM and draws 29 W; being a shaded pole design it needs no capacitor, so the fan connects to the AC 110 V / 220 V, 50/60 Hz supply with two leads.
The values below are the specification we build the YK-60180B-6016A to. Airflow is measured at free discharge and rated voltage; with a grille, filter or heat exchanger in the airflow path, expect a reduction of 15-25 percent.

Typical duties for the YK-60180B-6016A. Air curtain, convector heater, fireplace, air purifier.
Air curtains - 200-230 m³/h across a 180 mm slot builds the velocity needed to hold a door-line air seal at 2-2.5 m mounting height.
Convector heaters - Ball bearings tolerate the warm, dust-laden air above a convector element better than bushing motors.
Electric fireplaces and space heaters - The aluminium winding is cost-appropriate for appliances that run a few hours at a time rather than continuously.
Air purifiers - Low-noise operation at 2,200 RPM keeps the fan below the purifier's own noise floor on medium speed.
Aluminium winding suits intermittent duty: an air curtain running eight hours a day is fine, a continuously running industrial cabinet is not. For 24/7 duty, specify the copper-wound build so winding temperature stays lower over years of operation.
Mount the fan so the discharge slot is parallel to the door opening or heat exchanger face. Allow 20 mm clear on the suction side; a starved cross flow fan loses airflow quickly and gets noticeably louder.
The YK-60180B-6016A is built in our own plant, so the specification can be adjusted to your appliance rather than the other way round. Options below are quoted against the base build.
Copper-wound version for continuous duty, same housing and impeller.
Barrel lengths of 120, 180, 240, 300 and 360 mm.
110 V / 60 Hz or 220-240 V / 50 Hz winding.
Custom lead length and connector.
Protective mesh grille and mounting brackets.
Private label and retail-ready packaging.
Manufactured by Guangzhou Yuexun Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. (YKFANMOTOR) in Guangdong, China, part of a family motor business with more than 28 years of manufacturing experience. CE and RoHS documentation is supplied where the model carries those marks; IEC test reports can be arranged for custom builds.
Q: What is the difference between aluminium and copper winding in a cross flow fan?
A: Aluminium winding costs less and is adequate for intermittent duty such as air curtains and heaters. Copper conducts better, runs cooler and lasts longer under continuous load. For 24/7 operation or high ambient temperature, specify copper.
Q: Why does this fan use ball bearings?
A: Ball bearings tolerate axial load, vibration and vertical mounting better than oil-impregnated bushings, and they do not dry out in warm air streams. The trade-off is slightly higher cost and a faint bearing tone at low speed.
Q: What is 200-230 m³/h in CFM?
A: Roughly 118-135 CFM. Airflow is quoted at free discharge; with a discharge grille or a heat exchanger in the path, expect a 15-25 percent reduction.
Q: Can it be supplied for 110 V markets?
A: Yes. The YK-60180B-6016A is built in both 110 V / 60 Hz and 220 V / 50-60 Hz versions from the same tooling.
