What is the direction of rotation for this motor?
The YK-8425-90 rotates in a CCW (Counter-Clockwise) direction when viewing from the shaft extension end . Please verify your fan blade requires CCW rotation before purchasing.
Does this motor have overheat protection?
Yes, this motor is equipped with an HKW 9700 resettable thermal protector, which activates at 150°C. If the motor overheats, it automatically shuts off and resets after cooling, thus preventing fire hazards.
Is the winding copper or aluminum?
