Highest-output barrel in the 60 mm range: 60x360 fan on a 6040 shaded pole motor. 50 W, 2,000 RPM, 220-300 m³/h, CCW, black finish with protective grille - for air curtains and industrial drying.
220-300 m³/h from a single 360 mm barrel - the highest airflow in the 60 mm diameter family.
6040 motor provides the torque to hold speed against the pressure of a long air-curtain slot.
Black powder-coated housing with an integrated metal protection grille, ready for exposed installation.
2,000 RPM keeps tip speed and noise lower than a 2,300 RPM barrel at the same airflow.
CCW rotation matches standard air-curtain sheet-metal layouts.
Air is drawn into the 360 mm barrel along its full length and leaves through a narrow discharge slot, which is why the airflow is even across the slot instead of concentrated in the middle. The 6040 shaded pole motor runs the impeller at 2,000 RPM and draws 50 W; being a shaded pole design it needs no capacitor, so the fan connects to the AC 220 V, 50/60 Hz supply with two leads. Rotation is CCW viewed from the motor end, so confirm the handedness against your housing before ordering.
The values below are the specification we build the CF-6040-360-B to. Airflow is measured at free discharge and rated voltage; with a grille, filter or heat exchanger in the airflow path, expect a reduction of 15-25 percent.

Typical duties for the CF-6040-360-B. Air curtain, industrial drying room, high-pressure HVAC ducts.
Commercial air curtains - 220-300 m³/h across a 360 mm slot produces the discharge velocity needed to seal a 2.5-3 m door opening in retail and food service.
Industrial drying rooms - A long barrel gives a wide, even air knife across a conveyor or a rack face, which is more uniform than several axial fans.
High-pressure HVAC ducts - The 6040 motor holds speed better than a 6030 when the discharge is restricted by ductwork.
Display and open-deck refrigeration - The air knife keeps cold air inside an open cabinet without a glass door.
Air-curtain performance is driven by discharge velocity, not airflow alone. A 360 mm barrel with a narrow slot produces higher velocity than a wider slot at the same volume - specify the slot geometry with the order.
Mount the barrel horizontally across the door head with the discharge slot pointing down, and keep the intake clear of the ceiling void. The integrated grille is a finger guard, not a filter; add a mesh pre-filter in dusty environments.
The CF-6040-360-B is built in our own plant, so the specification can be adjusted to your appliance rather than the other way round. Options below are quoted against the base build.
Barrel lengths of 300, 360 and 420 mm on the 6040 platform.
Black or silver color optional.
CW rotation for mirrored installations.
Winding material: copper for continuous duty, aluminium or CCA for cost-down.
Custom slot geometry to match an air-curtain housing.
Bracket set and anti-vibration mounts.
Manufactured by Guangzhou Yuexun Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. (YKFANMOTOR) in Guangzhou, China, part of a family motor business with more than 28 years of manufacturing experience. CE and RoHS documentation is supplied where the model carries those marks; IEC test reports can be arranged for custom builds.
Q: How much air does a 60x360 cross flow fan move?
A: This model delivers 220-300 m³/h (about 130-177 CFM) at 2,000 RPM with 50 W input. That is the highest output in the 60 mm diameter family, achieved by the longer barrel and the larger 6040 motor.
Q: Why does it run at 2,000 RPM instead of 2,300 RPM?
A: The longer barrel and larger motor already produce the airflow at lower speed. Running slower reduces tip speed, noise and bearing wear while keeping the same volume.
Q: Is it suitable for an air curtain?
A: Yes - it is designed for that duty. For a 2.5-3 m door, pair the barrel with a narrow discharge slot to build velocity. Airflow alone does not seal a doorway; slot geometry does.
Q: What is the difference between the 6030 and 6040 motor?
A: The 6040 has a larger lamination stack and more torque, so it holds speed better against restricted discharge. It also draws more power - 50 W here versus 35 W on the 6030.
Q: Can the finish be changed?
A: Yes. Black is standard; silver and custom RAL colours are available from 1,000 pieces.
